Whooping Cough or tussis Covulsiva actually including childhood diseases that are easily transmitted, especially in children under 5 years of age. Can be transmitted through children / people who suffer from the cough or sneeze vomit, so the bacilli are flying in the air and inhaled by children / others. There are 2 bacillus that causes the disease, namely Haemophilus pertussis and Haemophilus the pertussis.
Symptoms:
- Cough is a sudden come at night or early morning, usually preceded by sneezing.
- After vomiting phlegm cough will usually colored rather thick.
- During coughing, the patient will usually appear bluish red, tense neck veins, eyes filled with water and the body becomes weak.
- Cough usually occurs with a frequency of 10-30 times a day.
The treatment can be done at home:
- Keep the patient to avoid foods that contain lots of flour, sugar and fried foods.
- Take 1 tablespoon black cumin seeds, grind until smooth, then pour 1 cup of hot water, add honey and drink 2x a day.
- Take 10 seeds wuluh starfruit, wash and then mash until smooth, wring it out, add 1 cup water and a little salt, strain and drink 2x a day.
- Take 10 fresh betel leaves, washed, boiled with 2 cups of water, add 2 tablespoons of sugar cubes, boiled up into half a glass. After a cold drink little by little until they run out.
